"Venus, Cupid, Folly and Time"[title 1] is the 22nd episode of ABC Family’s Switched at Birth Season One and the series overall. It was written by Lizzy Weiss, and it was directed by Micheal Lange. It was originally aired on March 20th, 2012.

Plot[]

Emmett invites Bay to Carlton's prom, and Daphne asks Wilke, but he tells her he can't go because he's writing a paper, making Daphne suspicious. [...] Meanwhile, Regina gets a call from Angelo, who is being held in custody. [...] Daphne invites Travis to join her at the prom, but Wilke unexpectedly shows up to her house in a limo just before she leaves. [...] He [Wilke] also tells Daphne about Emmett's night with Simone.

[...] Kathryn accompanies Craig to interview someone who was associated with the hospital at the time of the switch. [...] After prom, John visits Regina and tells her that the best solution to keeping Angelo in the country is if he marries a U.S. citizen.

Carlton holds their Prom, and Bay finding out a secret of Emmett's finds out that he's not the person she thought he was. Meanwhile, Wilke and Daphnes relationship is on the rocks when she brings him to her school's prom. Daphne gets help from Bay to figure out an ingenious way to ask Wilke to Carlton's prom. When Daphne surprises her boyfriend by asking him out for the prom, Wikle turns it down because he got papers he needs to work on. Disappointed, she asks Travis out for a friend-date instead. Somehow, later, there's trouble for at the dance for Daphne/Wilke and Bay/Emmett. Daphne finds out a shocking truth about Wilke and Emmett asks something huge of Bay. Kathryn tries to repair her relationship with John but tension keeps rising, and Kathryn's closeness with their lawyer puts their marriage in further jeopardy. Angelo returns and we finally find out where he has been. When Emmett tells Bay what happened with Simone, Bay gets mad and breaks up with him.
